Frequently Asked Questions

We accept private pay and do not accept insurance. We respect your family's individual situation and will work with you through a flexible payment plan.  We love helping you and would rather do that than insurance paperwork!

You are able to schedule a convenient time to meet with Angie by using the Appointments tab in the menu.  We can meet for up to one hour at a location convenient for you or online.  Ideally, this would be an adult-only meeting to share a bit about the challenges and hopes you have.  We can certainly make accommodations if younger children may be present. We'll brainstorm some immediate suggestions and ideas to support you, and talk through some possible next steps.  Some parents decide to commit and schedule additional sessions at that time, and some parents think it over and we connect a week later to check-in.

Referrals can be made on your own behalf or through a community professional.  You can submit this form, send us an email, or give us a call. If you are a community professional making a referral on behalf of your client or patient, we ask that you inform them before you contact us to see if they are open to coaching.  Many thanks!

We will contact you to confirm your information was received and that you intend to work with us.  Our team discusses the information provided to us and match you with a coach. The coach will contact you to work together and identify next steps.

Coaching sessions are unique to your family and will include a mix of education, resources, skills practice, and family activities.  You and your coach will determine how and when you meet, which could include online, in-home, or phone.

Our coaches have years of personal and professional experience that help them be sensitive to you and your family's needs.  We pride ourselves in giving you the right  balance of accountability and encouragement, but we know this work can be hard.  Our clients do the difficult work and are grateful to feel the difference in themselves and their loved ones at home!

We've seen the positive impact community supports have in helping families find success.  If we are invited to be a part of your team, we will collaborate to offer reinforcement of ideas, skills, and strategies that will keep you moving forward.  Your social worker or case manager can contact us or make a referral.

These cases are accepted on an individual basis.  We see the biggest results with adults who are open to learning and practicing new skills and working through challenging situations using research based philosophies and programs.  We believe when you know better, you will do better!  But you have to want to.

Yes. Parents and children who experience these symptoms, whether diagnosed or not, still deserve the education, skills, and encouragement that are needed to live and cope in healthy ways.  We've worked with students of all ages who experience some of these struggles and know how this can impact families.  Although we are not therapists and do not provide therapeutic care, we know how effective holistic support can be and will suggest and encourage additional appropriate resources.  We believe all people have gifts and strengths that need to be identified and nurtured and we'll help you on that journey.

Wonderful!  We love being invited to reach even more people!  Because our trainings are customized to your group's needs, please contact Angie to work out the details.  If your group is a member of the Southeast Service Cooperative, Angie will help coordinate this.
