We are currently on a waiting list. We regularly assess client status and accept new families as our coaches are available. Private families looking for support can schedule a free 30 minute consultation with Angie to learn more. County agencies and other providers may complete a referral to get on the list
We welcome collaboration and accept referrals from community providers and professionals. You can submit this form or call (507.254.7748) to make a referral. Please inform your client or patient before you make a referral to ensure the family is willing to participate. Also include their Release of Information or have them reach out to us directly.
A coach may reach out to you for additional information and then will work with the family to identify next steps, which includes completing any necessary paperwork. Community professionals can expect coaches to occasionally contact you to continue coordination of care and support.
Yes. All of this. Whether diagnosed or not, families who experience these symptoms still deserve the education, skills, and encouragement that are needed to live and cope in healthy ways. We've worked with people of all ages who experience complex struggles and know how difficult these situations can be on the whole family. The skills, strategies, and resources we share are specific to the behaviors we observe in-home and learn about from you. Although we are not therapists and do not provide therapeutic care, we may suggest and encourage additional appropriate resources so you are no longer alone in your struggles. Navigating this path can be challenging and uncertain. We believe all people have gifts and strengths that need to be identified and nurtured and we're on your team to help you on that journey.
We do not accept insurance. If needed, will work with you to develop a payment plan so getting the help your family needs does not cause additional stress.
We currently accept private payments (Zelle, Paypal, Check and Venmo) and will work with community providers to identify additional resources that could support our services for families. Upon request, we can provide you with a statement of payment and services that you may provide to your tax advisor if applicable.
Plus! We want to be spending our time with families, not doing insurance paperwork!
A free 30 minute consultation includes meeting online or at a location convenient for you to discuss our services and your needs. Ideally, this would be an adult-only meeting to share a bit about the challenges and hopes you have. If children are present, that's ok! We make it a point to be very discreet during the conversation. We'll brainstorm some immediate suggestions and ideas to support you, then talk through next steps. Some parents decide to schedule additional sessions at that time, and some parents think it over and connect a bit later to check-in. Billing information and additional paperwork will be taken care of during this free consultation.
If your family decides to move forward, you must sign and return our Memorandum of Understanding which indicates your commitment to these services. Then our team will match you with a coach. That coach will email, text, or call you regarding a customized schedule and plan.
We require a minimum of three sessions to connect deeper with your family and to determine the best direction. We know families have unique needs, so the number of sessions after that will vary.
We are dedicated to maintaining your trust and confidentiality, while holding ourselves to a high standard of service. Once we receive the Memorandum of Understanding, your family will be placed on the wait list and we'll contact you as soon as possible to start with a coach!
You can expect progress! 98% of our families self-report improvement during the course of our coaching program. This speaks to the work families are committed to doing and the relationship they have with their coach.
Coaching sessions are unique to your family and will include a mix of education, resources, skills practice, and family activities. You and your coach will determine how and when you meet, which could include online, in-home, or phone.
We know parenting isn't a 9-5 job and we expect needs arise after hours. We pride ourselves in helping you through challenging situations with text and phone support whenever possible during those hot moments!
Our coaches have years of personal and professional experience and training that helps them be sensitive to you and your family's needs and de-escalate situations. We are confident in giving you the right balance of accountability and encouragement, and we know this work can be hard. When our clients do the work and consistently implement what they learn, they make amazing progress that is felt by everyone at home!
If we are invited to be a part of your team, we will add research-based, developmentally appropriate parenting skills and encouragement, and collaborate to reinforce the progress plans already in place to keep you moving forward. We know it takes a village and have seen how important it is to help your family stay connected to other supports you trust. Your social worker, lawyer, or case manager can contact us at the link above or make a referral.
These cases are accepted on an individual basis. We see the biggest results when adults are open to learning and practicing new skills and working through challenging situations using research based philosophies and techniques. This includes working through our program, with a minimum of three sessions. We believe when you know better, you will do better! But you have to want to.
Wonderful! We love being invited to reach even more people! Because our trainings are customized to your group's needs, please contact Angie to work out the details. We can travel to you or provide online training anywhere! If your group is a member of the Southeast Service Cooperative, Angie will help coordinate this. Let's get you on our calendar today!
