My name is Angie Ellsworth, MS, LSW, LSC and I am thrilled you have found us! As the founder and owner of Timeout Behavior Coaching, LLC, I take great pride in our clients, their successes, and the high quality service we provide. We can't wait to help you and your family, too!
Today I am a wife and mother of three amazing kids, yet it hasn't always been that way. As a person who works in the behavior field, I especially felt I needed to keep my parenting struggles a secret. Although reaching out for support took courage, it was the first step in helping us find the support our family needed. In addition, as a college athlete, youth sports coach, and parent of athletes, I also know the impact that a dedicated, knowledgeable coach can have on helping others reach their potential through skill building, practice, and understanding.
These experiences, as well as my 22 year career as a licensed social worker, licensed school counselor, and behavior specialist, gave me the perfect opportunity to help students and staff feel better and do better with whatever was challenging them. My passion has grown to include presenting, training, and coaching over 50 teams, school districts, and organizations. Now I am excited to bring these experiences and valuable tools to parents!
I have been trained in the following areas: Prepare/Enrich, Love and Logic, Why Try? Resilience, Restorative Justice, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, SWIS, Human Centered Design Thinking, and Non-verbal Classroom Management. I've also been certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute, USA Youth Mental Health First Aid, am a Certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist, and am completing Interdisciplinary Trauma Studies Certification. With new research coming out all the time, I look forward to finding solutions that work for you.
My name is Lorie Leske, and I'm the mother of four adult children, three by birth and one through adoption. I've worked with children, youth, and families for over 26 years, helping them increase their capacity for healthy relationships and sense of self.
Many things can influence our ability to be the best parents we can. I offer coaching support that helps work through grief/loss, divorce, PTSD, domestic violence, abandonment, eating disorders, faith crises, adoption, and LGBTQIA+. I also have experience within the child protection and legal system. I am a Christian who respects all beliefs and faith practices, an LGBTQIA+ Ally and parent, and have 16 years experience as a parenting and marriage coach.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Marriage and the Family, and I am continuing graduate work in Human Services, Advocacy, and Lifespan Development. My 20+ years in education earned me a nomination for Minnesota State Support Professional of the Year.
I have been trained in Prepare/Enrich, Love and Logic, Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Crisis Prevention Institute, Family Systems, Restorative Justice, Cultural Competency, Multi-Cultural Counseling, and Social Justice.
While I may not know what the future holds for you or your family, I know that it can get better. I look forward to supporting you in the journey ahead!
